On that note, have you read the VIN codes of cars other than your own?

up to you. believe it all the way you want to.
if i sounded too harsh before, then apology. also, there is no point wasting so much energy and getting someone to believe thing that they refuse to.

and, nothing to brag about, but when i was in malaysia, a close mate of mine used to have a sir/cd6 accord with crinkle blue valve cover h22a motor and one mate even had the gen 6 jdm accord - both cf4 and euro-R CL1. we used to have an accord gathering every so often. so yes, i've seen one and i've driven one.

the main argument is not about the vin/chassis code. but the point i want to stress is the sir/cd6 is another gen-5 accord variant, with cd5 as another variant, and so is cd3, and so is cd4 - as opposed to what you believe cd6 as the continuation of cd5 (and year as the factor). same goes to wagon. the ce1 is the regular (one variant of) gen-5 accord wagon, and cf2 is the sir equivalent (another variant). not continuation (facelift) of one model to another.

there exists both 1994 and 1995 sir/cd6 accords.

    enough said.

again, believe what you want to believe. no hard feelings.

I'm not doing this to prove anyone wrong, I just want to clarify things for those who are confused. Here are some pictures from my car:

Oh sweet! Nice grill! I was choosing between that one and the pre-facelift grill. I'll definitely be going for the one you have did you paint it? and did you buy it off eBay?

Btw man, I notice you are still using the number plate holder...I'd recommend removing that and drilling a couple of small holes into the bumper and screwing the plates in. I did it a couple of days ago, makes a big difference

Nepolian, thanks for that chart. I didn't know they had 98 CD5's though! I thought production ended in 97.

    How I'd love a CD8...couple SiR...mmm...

damn there hot.. its just so hard to find lips and kits here in AUS.. most of them are in the US and freight will cost me a fortune. But will see I am still shopping around and looking for cheap price and freight cost..

Yeah man the bumper is plastic so drilling the holes was the easiest part. The hard part is removing the lower screws from the number plate holder...got me really frustrated!
