The R125 fails simply because of it's astronomical price.

The CBR125 does not fail, as it has made many 18 year olds realise that they CAN afford to ride on the road. I've ridden one, yes they're as slow as a wet week, but they've brought through a new generation of riders!

I know many an 18 year old kid that have got Just Bikes magazine, seen the $10k pricetag on Shitmoto's CBR250RR's, and simply just given up. I put them on to CBR125's at around the $4k for demo models, and they realise that it's not so expensive!

Not sure about the GSXR125, though.
