does anyone have j's racing front strut or c pillar? or knows how to install them?
im having problems installing the front one as the brake reservoir and the aircon line thing is in the way of the bolts on left side.

aircon hose goes into the brace as shown, might need to bend some things/remove brackets though.

I am kinda second doubting buying a EP3 considering the price for it... I am on first year of greens so no turbo for me. But the turbo cars are only 2-3k more than EP3, so i dno if i should wait until my fulls (Subaru WRX, Audi S3, Golf GTI). The WRX and S3 both have AWD so thats already worth the extra 2-3k. So why is the EP3 still so expensive :'(
Also i cant see the EP3 holding its price as well as the Audi and the Golf, so 3 years down the track the EP3 will be worth less than 15k

do you need a relocation kit for the reservoir ? or do you take the reservoir off and put it back after installing the strut?
thanks

If you owned an ep3, then you would know why its only 2-3k less than turbo cars....in most cases its quicker than them I have raced an s3 and a wrx and the ep3 holds it's own...the wrx i raced actually lost so bleh. Golf GTI is slower than an ep3, it's alot heavier plus no where near as raw and 'race' oriented. The only reason the ep3 is losing it's value is due to the very large increase in the amount of ep3's imported.
imo of course.

I agree wit twest.. go drive an EP3 and see the difference.. the balance and power in the EP3 is almost perfect..
the only GTI thats beaten me is my mates one which he remapped to 210kw.. I surprise the wrx drivers but I've cut down on guys who want to take me on.. I haven't taken on a s3 yet so I can't say which one is better..
I'm driving a stock EP3 and the amount of cars I've kept up with or sometimes get in front of is ridicules.. especially the work they've done on it and I'm stock..
also petrol wise its great but only if you use BP ultimate..
I also don't think the value of the EP3 drops that much.. 3 years ago when i wanted to get one it was between 28 and 30k.. now ppl still try to sell them between 22 and 24.. most importers will try to sell it to you for 25k..
well that's what I've seen since I've been looking for one.. to be honest since I've got mine I haven't thought about getting anything else..
I had a dealer trying to convince me to get a evo 7 or 8.. once he imported the EP3 for me and i took him for a spin he soon realized why I wanted the one..

Not everything’s about the racing!!
Design, function and the beautiful aesthetics of the EP3 sold me years ago, not to mention coming with a K20A straight out of the box.
They were out of my price range till just recently so the price drop was great news for me.
I also have an EG5 JDM B16A SiR-II TURBO running 13.2s on street rubber!!
Heaps faster than the Rex’s, Audi S3 or Golf GTI but I still opted for the slower yet nicer EP3.
AWD is completely unnecessary for in and around town or even the track IMO,
Plus the extra weight of the AWD running gear makes them a tad sluggish and costly on fuel
Now having said that, the EP3 is no slug in any case and can keep up with AWD turbo boys no problems.
Just lookup the Australian Rally Championship stages and compare times between the turbo AWD EVO or REX boys and the N/A FWD Civic Type-R
Not to mention the huge costs involved in service and repairing European cars.
