any adverse effects of removing ur resonator? i thought it was illegal
    did u DIY euroR?

paul is still sourcing mugen wing, waiting for his reply. he had to go overseas on an emergency and came back yesterday apparently

i got a reply from SG people and they said "due to recent soaring fuel prices, shipping cost will incur a 20% surcharge, making shipping more expensive than actual item, continue?"
so im assuming it will be over $300usd for the wing. 20% surcharge...what a crock of shi**. im guessing they didnt give me exact quote becuase they dont want me checking the rates up. i noe its not an official shipping quote. im asking for box size and weight and considering arranging own courier. at the very least i can then compare the rates when the fuel prices go down
Yeah Paul is definitely back. Saw his car parked at the complex where I had dinner :P

Think they look alright. Looked at putting them in the fake air slot on the spoiler, but would have had to have recessed them into the bumper proper so opted for this spot.
Nice ...you're in QLD too ay? Should come on the next cruise event with me, nesterjester, albii, MR_LATE and PNR888 ...oh bad luck on that tiny scratch on the lip (at least I think it is one)

Looked at next to fog's but won't fit. Even thought vertical next to the verical bar but no go
They are the smallest I could find - 4 leds wide 20mm high and probably 60mm deep with an angle
Got them form the states, JDM - got the ones with the switch, so ignition on, DRL's on, ignition off, DRL's turn off and when main lights are on, DRL's go off

Hey Kwangstuhhh - count me in
Front of it has more than one scratch unfortunately, grazed the bricks one night and stone chips like you would not believe - booked in for repairs in 2 weeks

Haha really now...tempting...I haven't taken mine out coz I'm gonna be taking it in for it's 10k km service soon...don't want them to think wtf is the resonator hehe.
haha yeah tony, i wouldn't take it out before the 10k service, i went for mine a few weeks ago with it dumped on the tein's and they were like "WTF?!"

so i can imagine their reaction if they had saw that the resonator being absent from the engine bay.

to those guys on the edge of their seat waiting for the before and after of the resonator video, you guys gotta have to wait a few more days (most likely after new years) cos i'm too busy at work.

which reminds me, HAPPY NEW YEARS CU2 MODDERS!

    EDIT
ok, so i had some free time, so here they are:

    BEFORE:

    AFTER:

cbf blurring out numberplate, this is for those guys waiting for it, personally i don't think there's THAT much of a difference revving in one spot like i am doing in the videos, the sound is much more pleasing to hear when actually driving down roads and hitting that 3000rps, orgasm to ears

@NSHonda: Thanks for that info. Sounds like some good proper DRL! As fury mentioned where did you get them from? JDM?

@euroRwannabe: Nice clips! Were there any implications with removing the resonator or was it straightforward? Any things that need to be covered up? or is it just the black piping (I remember removing the resonator on the CL9 which was easy and nothing to cover up unlike the Prelude which had some valve thing). Really looking forward to doing this mod just to save "weight" haha
