i stopped and relaxed a few seconds. then BOOM my car jolts forward. i look behind me, the street is completely empty except for one doofus who tried to squeeze a bloody commodore in behind my euro. there was a 1km stretch of empty road for him to park, and he insisted on squeezing behind my car wtff
i got out and THANK BLOODY GOD NO DENT (this is the SECOND TIME ITS HAPPENED!) and the whole time the dude was like oh man so sorry, its not even my car. im like I DONT CARE IF ITS NOT UR CAR< UR STILL RESPONSIBLE!
but he was nice about it and gave me his details and offered to wire me the cost of repairs. There was no evident bumper damage, but there was one deep scratch/hole (his nose nudged my bumper so went inwards and not scrappppppppee along the length, thank god)
the hole is a bit deep as it literally looks like a little crater. touch up paint wont work, becasue its deep and needs something to fill the hole first.

the problem is, im geting a lip installed soon, so it SHOULD cover up the scratch. but since hes offering to pay for it...is it worth going to someplace to get it fixed up and then billing him anyway? and its so insignificant to go to all the trouble of booking in a tiny repair like that...but i hate looking at it!
Bad luck man...man maybe it's a good thing I didn't take my Euro out on NYE haha =S...one accident after another...one in each state...I could've been the one in QLD! But yeah if he's willing to owe up then go for the repairs...I know your feeling man, owned 3-4 times in the rear end by people who can't park isn't fun. At least you were at the scene when that happened! Mine all have been hit and runs =(. Anyways all the best with the repairs mate.

I have seen coilovers installed on different cars but i don't think you need a sping compressor to remove the stock suspensions.
I thought you just remove the stock suspensions and install the coilovers?

^yeah you only need to compress the springs if you want to change the springs. otherwise its just a matter of taking the old one out, and putting the new one in

    hi guys,
    I got them installed,
Went to Ben from touge tune. i would highly recomend him!!!

    1 Problem,
The shop didnt send me a full set. so i was missing 2 spring adaptors. ( the gold circle bits you put when your using the oem upper mounts.)
so now the fronts are just sitting on the rubber.

We couldnt put the stock back on because we already took up the springs to use the oem mounts.

but the cars so low, looks hawt!

    1 finger gap left.

only problem is . tein didnt pack the box properly.
so i got only 2 spring seats.
at at the moment the cars driving on 2 rears with spring seats. and the fronts without.
so all i can do it drive carefully. until they send me the other 2.

i just contacted www.advancespeedshop.com and they are forwarding the pictures and all that to tein to get a replacement
but the thing that sucks is. i have to do the installation again.
Ben said he will charge me a little less . but its such a pain. Tein shoudl have done it right the first time. i guess this is the difference between tein JP and tein USA

Looks good mate but did the shop know that the part was missing? If they did, they shouldn't of installed it in the first place.
