then go get ur car checked chichichibo...

and if you're only doing 5km from cold starts, then remember that the car idles higher while warming up, and thus uses more petrol

thats probably why ur consumption is so bad. 80% city driving and only short trips are gonna dramatically affect ur fuel efficiency. take longer journeys in ur car! lol make a 20min detour on the highway to wherever ur going. that will help ur fuel efficiency, even if it may take u an extra 20 mins to get to where u want to go

Guys I am getting the same fuel consumption as Chichichibo...I drive 85% city driving Melb peak hour traffic get about 370 k’s a tank and I believe its normal..anyone who claims to drive in the same conditions with a FD2 and gets 500 k’s per tank is dreaming!!

I do 80-90% city driving but not peak hour conditions, although a fair bit of stop/start. It's the same every week and I consistently get 560km+ with 2-5 litres left

Yeah. It happened because I forgot to pump then the next day I went to pump the petrol was uber expensive so I waited two more days LOL. I heard its bad to let your tank run that low but meh car is running smoother than ever. Btw all my calculations are based of the fact that my tank is 50L. It may be more?

^ it is a fact that the FD tanks are 50ltrs. if u were able to fill up 48L in one stop at a fuel station, then that is pretty ballsy. i get nervous driving as soon as theirs 2 lights of fuel left. lol

PS: btw, do u seriously own a GT3RS?!?! lol pics!

    ok so in theory ...

    buy a manual sport
swap the interior with the vti to save weight
put on light rims to save more weight
strip out the boot lining etc to save weight but dont compromise too much
they come with a K20? so why not put in type-r or type-s cams? or headswap?
clutch, flywheel, intake, headers, exhaust, coilovers

    win?
