Think about it, JDM DC2R's had - JDM 4-1 bolt onto JDM ITR Exhaust. AUDM DC2'Rs had - AUDM 4-1 bolt onto AUDM ITR Exhaust. They are both different in lenth and diameters. (Check out the thread TGW92 posted up and see comparison)

Aftermarket header would be best with aftermarket hiflow cat (What most people do). But if you want to get achieve the best preformance you will then have to change the exhaust. Thats upto you though on what you plan to do

Yeah, the audm headers, cat and exhaust system are all different lengths to the jdm ones, just to make it easy lol

So jdm headers will not simply bolt on to audm cat and exhaust (whether vtir or type r) as the jdm headers won't reach the cat.

Even if you go and change to jdm headers and jdm cat it still will not fit, as now the cat will not reach the exhaust.

So in short, jdm headers and cat are shorter, jdm exhaust is longer to accommodate for this.

So it's all audm or all jdm, so your best option is to look at headers made to audm specifications.

It is unnecessarily complicated I know lol

Best advice so far was when Moiz told you to get an injen cai first those things make a seriously huge aural difference, with a small power/torque gain to boot

get jdm 4-1 and get a flexi pipe to connect it. any exhaust shop will install it to fit your standard cat if you want to keep it all oem and stock y0~

^ this is your other alternative if you are set on making jdm headers fit audm exhaust

JDM ITR headers and cat length is smaller and different to AUDM headers and cat but over lenth of the whole exhaust system is the same length

Just to add on for the OP,heres a thread outling the 4-1 swap onto audm if you chose to go that direction
    http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthr...S-Audm-4-2-1..

It would be cheaper to not use the jdm cat and source a highflow yourself

yes if headers are made to jdm specifications (eg toda) then they will be the same as jdm itr headers (NOT audm)

as for cats, jdm = 12" long, audm = 18" long as well as the aforementioned differences in width.....
