Troy
02-02-2010, 02:04 PM
So you work in Surfers? I used to run the trolley contracts for the Coles there, back when I did that line of work. True story, I walked around all the streets and back alleys collecting the buggers, they go everywhere there. Knocking on manager doors to be let in to the basement carpark and collecting them out of there and everything, you know how many high rises there are... I had a trailer as well but it was usually quicker to manually push them all, traffic is terrible and there was no place to park it to load.

PM Troy,he's offline atm

Troy
03-02-2010, 09:46 AM
Woulda taken you on just like that back in the day, but I don't miss the industry. I did it for about 8 years. Obviously you need a license if you drive, otherwise nah it's all good, I had plenty of 14-15-16 year olds working for me all the time, bloody hard work but if you learn the tricks of the trade and do it right it can be manageable.

Sad when you can look at a single line of trolleys and tell exactly how many there are without even counting them... :( I used to be able to do it, anything more than 20 was too many though.

Just find a shop somewhere close where you live and go find the trolley collectors, tell 'em you want to work.

09-02-2010, 02:24 PM
Yeah, been psyched to tell ya but forgot lol, then I was like, nah,I'll suprise him but I had to post a pic haha

I was eyeing it off for a while but $250...then the dials didnt fit,was a bit stressing cause nothing on the cluster works due to breaking a fuse on the back,DAMMIT! I know a place that should be able to fix it though.it's a technical electrical job cause it's not a fuse, something else, like an isolator or something. It's tiny and it's glass.

It's not in yet,a week later!

I will wind the clock back to read correctly, mine is like 126,xxx k's

David Wilcock - Alien Consciousness in a Human body,A wanderer, many of them here to help with the MASSIVE change taking place.

Here's the other one off David's site:

Do these 2 people look the same - John Edgar Cayce and David Wilcock?

http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l287/beeza2/cayce-wilcock.jpg

What do U think, could David Wilcock be the reincarnation of edgar cayce?

"With nothing more than a name and address of a client, along with a promise that they'd be home at the time of the reading, Edgar Cayce was able to go into a totally unconscious trance state, visit them out-of-body, diagnose their medical conditions and prescribe unique and effective treatments.Cayce's readings are in a class of their own -- over 14,000 examples of this process documented in writing, with an estimated accuracy rating approaching 99 percent."

how come it doesnt reach 220?

It's more practicle! and more accurate as it's spread out more.

I calibrated the speedo via the gps.

I took the needle off the speedo, drove to 100km/h,watching the gps, then stuck the needle on,perfect!

The odometer read - 1984xx km's,mine was 1284xx km's.I simply wound the 9 to a 2,done.It was 5km out lol

That's what you would call taking the long way around to fix the problem, totally the wrong way but it probably would work. We'd just have to sort out which direction the car needs to roll first.

Any idea on fixing the gear stick position lights?

Yeah I get away, sometimes she's cool and other times she's not happy but that's life you know. I married her and I love her but I don't live solely to please her. Anyone that's married will agree with that.

Also it's fun to get away especially with my oldest now being 2, I can bring him along and we really enjoy time together. I ended up at Bunnings on Sunday with him. We were simply looking for a rain coat for him and an umbrella. First we spent about 10 minutes wandering through the store ("Look at this daddy!") and then we found the playground (another 20 minutes goes by), after which we found the water fountain (another 5 minutes LOL), then we find out that Bunnings does not stock rain coats and they are out of stock of them big green Bunnings umbrellas. Oh well. Another 10 minutes to share a sausage on the way out.

Was the best part of my day. :D

Haha yeah, like our crazy ass mission that day on the property

Oh man,at one point I was like I cant go on without water and then we found that creek and had some water and we still had to go up that big ass hill.

I had no energy by then (this was before I was eating raw foods) to go up and around that massive wall of lantana that was in front of us,you couldn't go through it,so we went over the 10ft high wall.Afterwards we were covered in scratches from the lantana hahaha What a mission! :p

Sounds fun, although honestly lately my bushwalking expeditions have been small tracks, paved if I can find them as that way I can take my son or the whole family. Especially when you end up carrying the kid 3/4 of the way it gets a bit tiresome.

14km is pushing it!

Although where the Twin Falls is, there is also the Warrie Circuit, I think it's 17km or something and I've done it once before as a kid. I've wanted to do it again for the last few years. Maybe we'll hit it sometime this year?

I had the weirdest dream last night man, that you ended up moving in next door to me, someone else gave you a badly crashed CD5 Accord (white and everything like mine) that had a perfect H22A in it but you wanted to take my car off me to fix that one up instead of letting me buy the engine, so then you had my car and the BAT and I ended up buying a Mini (I've always loved them, especially the Clubman shape) and I would pick you up from work every day cause you worked as a chef and you gave me free dinner every night. And we went on a cruise in the Mini and met up with heaps of people on a hillside, there was a spitroast BBQ and as weird as it sounds it was an awesome dream.

I dunno what it means, but the weirdest part is that I remember it. I haven't remembered a dream in like, at least over a year.

Oh well. Back to real life.

The circled part is the 02 sensor. That's where U want it - where the 4 goes into 2 then into 1 pipe - The collector.

A lot of people's 02 sensor is hooked up to 1 or 2 cylinders, that will give a false reading and cause ya car to run 'not as good'.

Get an exhaust shop to weld on a 'bung',like where it is above and extend the 02 sensor wire and enjoy a smoother ride.

Hey beez in response to your sig....i can. Does fishing by yourself count?

Also man do u think if i take all my shit to ur mechanic he will know how to put it all in?

beeza

It's not if U can just go and do something by yourself and enjoy it,more as an ongoing thing.

Like I live out the bush, don't see anyone out there. My best friend is me.Everyday I have to find ways to entertain myself.I like Happy,so that's what I look for - Happiness.

My challenge is to make myself Happy everyday and U know what,I'm doing it.

In city areas your surrounded by stuff to distract U/white noise.Out there,as U know, cause U grew up just near me,there are no distractiuons and I'm by myself out there too!!

It's been a challenge but just sooo good!

Like,I'll leave work 2night at 10pm and will be back at 9am thursday and wont chat to nobody unless I go see my neighbour, get petrol or the jebobah witnesses come around again lol

I doubt they will but after I SMASHED em' with the Truth bat :) In a nice way - Offcoarse.

Hit em' with the Truth

I just love seeing the profound effect it has on someone pushing the bible.

When U find the right words, which is coming so easy these days! U can literally see the healing happen right before your eyes.

Truth is so powerful, the bible is a joke when someone with Truth in thier Heart shines thier light on it.

But they are just souls searching for answers.I too searched for 32 years of my life.

Man, i dont know how you guys do it. I can't even dream of gettingmine lowered as my garage/driveway is on a huge hill with a spoon drain at the top.
I've got a fixed rent pad near UQ, so aint movin anytime soon.

Even so, ive even managed to (very lightly) scrape my stock em1 lip on a spoon drain.

I've seen how you go over speed bumps Tim, I'm sure that there are many 'no go' areas 4 u.

beeza
25-03-2010, 01:00 PM
hehe

Upgrade the exhaust system to 2.25" from 2".

Will include:

Hi flow cat, resonator and mandrel bent piping = $540 fitted.

Then put the cam in (when it arrives...) + timing belt tensioner and a couple of seals while the timing belt is off.

THEN:

Tune with greddy,AK Andy will do that!

So all that will be $1200,then I....MUST....STOP....SPENDING!!!!!

:)

UkuleleGod
25-03-2010, 02:22 PM

I need to do the exhaust on my EK1.
How does the current system sound?

:)

beeza
25-03-2010, 02:31 PM
Oh no no no,NEVER and am Happy as to say that too!!!!

It sounds great, really does,I love the sound.Forgot to say before I 've got the X-force headers and 2.25" X-force twin loop muffler,so they will work perfect with the new set up,don't need to replace!

http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=76097

I was gonna get a 2.25" Oval magnaflow muffler, they look great.Baffled straight though design but decided I do Love the twin loop and the note it gives off,no use spending $300 on another muffler.I mean there probably are gonna be gains with that but so what, the twin loop is performing great I feel,it's the piping that's restricting + the 1/4" upgrade I feel will work with the stage 1 cam.

What engine have U got?

UkuleleGod
25-03-2010, 03:31 PM
Yeah. Engine swaps are a bit extreme. But if I came into a bit of money I wouldn't mind it :p

I have a D16Y4 too. I'm driving a 97 EK1 Cxi, I love it to bits and it is my first car. Ive only done basic It would be nice to give the engine a bit of a meatier sound.

Those headers look sexy, and with the cam and a tune, that engine should go pretty hard!

How many Km's does the EK have on it?

beeza
25-03-2010, 03:48 PM
O,nice,the y4! :)

132,000 k's now!

Too me,the car already goes hard,so I'm stoked about being stoked with my car's power.I could easily leave it but anyone who has been modding for a while knows that that isn't very easy to do lol

There's a heap to learn and do with ya engine that dosen't require spending money. That's what I did and still do to keep me busy and the result is an engine that U know is performing at 100%.and that feels great!

Gio

Bored out a TB with a small round file, took 3 hours and was suprisingly very easy.I think the material is aliminium so it came off easily!

I also filed the butterfly plate to a sharp point.

So the TB is still 56mm but U can see what I have done.I have tappered it away to a point to allow more air flow:

Thanks for the pics Tim!

Also the 2 screws penetrated through the other side,so I cut them off and filed it flat.Couldn't do much about the BIG head on the screws though...I mean I could grind them off a bit/flat but my grinder on/off button shat itself 2 days ago dammit!! It's dodgy to use now.

U want it to be rough,U dont want to sand/polish it.Being rough allows for atomization which is splitting the atoms in the air, this allows more air into the combustion chamber which = more power! That's why on the inside of the cylinder cumbustion chambers there is cross hatching,it is not smooth, even after 180,000k's U still see it in d-series honda's!! OH YEAH.

This was Tim's TB,I will do mine soon and post performance results! :)

I have learnt that polished finish is best,so I will polish it.

The atomization comes in with the fuel,so ya wanna scuff up the end of the IM runners where the fuel squirts in the help atomize the fuel.

How it was before :)

I know my car,so I will know any changes.I took that middle part out and filed and polished it (sanded).Came up real good. This was done on Tim's TB,I'm gonna do mine next week,I'll make a thread on it when it's done :)

A 60mm TB is too big on a stockish d,good for a worked on d though.

So I feel this will work on mine and Tim's engine.

Some more pics of the stock TB,modified. All finished and polished up:

The butterfly plate and holding bracket in the middle there is thin as and the screws have been shortened (cut with pliers) and filed down:

This y4 TB will be installed in the morning on Tim's car along with a y4 IM,swapping out the crappola y7 designed IM! The y7 and y4 TB are the same though...but we will be installing 'beeza's special TB' :)
