with camber, i don't think stock is adjustible but not 100% sure. you will need some camber bolt.

I'm paranoid too so I might just get the bracket instead which is maintenance free. And since I have to lube the steering rack, I might get it installed at the same time.

Should've come back from HK earlier and heard my car. I love the Spec 3, only issue I have with it is that at idle + cold its way too loud. If it's idle was more quiet I would like it more, but starting it early in the morning is a good way to get on the bad side of your neighbors.

I'd assume so (without back to back dyno).

Therefore in theory injen/gruppe m etc CAI are better design.

Where else would it sit?

Yes , it would draw the air from the engine bay!

If that is so, would this mod reduce performance?

In short (IMO) yes it would have heat soak in traffic and dyno.... But when the car is in motion and the heat gets drawn from under the car, it would not be that bad.

Try it out for yourself!

I got 13.9 down the quarter with SRI and cat back (lower than some with more mods)......so it cant that bad!

I'd assume so (without back to back dyno).

You cannot fully test SRI on a dyno as the car is static! It is known that engine bays run considerably cooler when car is in motion. Having said that, summer periods wont help :p

Yes, injen gruppem are better designed and is better, but Twest is getting the filter free! Better than $500 and $1000!

Hey guys i'm wondering how much rear camber can be adjusted with stock standard suspension.

I keep finding mixed answers.. so I'm not sure.

The Honda Service Manual specs says
Front: 0°00' +- 45'
Rear: -0°45' +- 45'

Can anyone confirm Honda's specs???

My plan is to get front camber bolts and run front camber: -2° and rear camber: -1° (maxed out stock rear camber if Honda specs are correct)

Its got the Mugen Twinloop, Mugen Front Lip and I'm fairly certain it has Mugen Adjustable Coilovers...But I'm not sure. It's my friend who keeps arguing that point, because he reckons my ep3 is lower than his girlfriends and wayyy rougher, he says mine has stiffer suspension but I haven't got under there to check out exactly what it has.

I want to put a mugen airbox or GruppeM on it, just waiting for one to come up for sale on ozhonda. Also waiting on gavin at img to get me in a Mugen front grille. Then I'll be happy :)

My understanding is header, mid pipe are same for jdm dc5 and ep3 and muffler won't fit.

Not sure about Audm dc5.

KaZe86

headers fit both audm and jdm im pretty sure the mid pipe is slightly longer on the dc5 both jdm and audm... but yeah muffler is different aswell slightly im sure you can cut and mod it to fit but not worth it i say...

twest like the car its nice and clean dont like the rear tail lights though and is that were you really put the front "P" plate? o_O

Philip Lee

Dc5 and ep3 share the same wheelbase. If the headers are the same, wouldn't the midpipe be the same? Obviously muffler is longer on the dc5 as it has longer rear overhang.

As I said I was only compairing with JDM dc5r which has the same header and cat with our cars.

Also power getter is a complete catback so Fuji might have changed slightly.

If u run a spoon mid pipe (which can be fitted on with stock header and muffler), the mid pipe is the same for dc5 and ep3.

for stereo sound quality maybe.

personally i wouldn't bother about full sound deadening on the EP3. it was meant to be raw and loud. however i put a small piece of the jaycar stuff at the back of the front speakers when i replaced the crappy Gathers one. they are very light and cheap so i thought why not.

Hey guys here is a thread that is on the intergra section. This is inregards to that vibration/noise when u drive in the wet

http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=80848

its the exact same problem as us. When u have a after market cat back exhaust and u drive in the wet, the rain gets in and "sizzles" u could say and it makes weird noises. My car b4 use to sound like a loud v8 when i went through big puddles. I found if i drive easy it prolonged this from happening but it stills happens in the end so my thoughts that driving easy meant that the exhaust pipe didnt heat up as much. This was all fixed once i got my new headers installed. Not sure why though, mayb the different metals butting up next to eachother :S no idea to b honest. But yeah so far since my headers have been installed i havent had the problem happen while driving through the rain

Harbour City in Kowloon is good for shopping if you are into designner brand and stuff, Mong Kok is good for eletronic stuff, car parts as well, oh, and the sneaker street. Then there is Causeway Bay, Admiralty and central. Disneyland, Ocean Park and the Peak are good places to go too. Sorry about the too many shopping places, been there too many times with the missus. :D

With the SSR header that everyone refers to, is it the Speed Star Racing header or the Six Sigma Racing? Both look very similar though...

If it's an O2 sensor issue, then it's fine as you'll be running rich. Since you're running rich, don't rev your engine too high as you may cause damage.

the CEL light i got on is cause the o2 sensor went .... :(
