So you're saying less displacement means the car can rev more?

I think what Tegy trying to say is that going K20/24 loses alot of the K20 rev properties/characteristics, where as the 2.2 can still rev out as it has a better bore x stroke ratio to the 2.4.

I know any motor can be built to rev but the Toda setup has been proven to work. You just have to pay $$.

Alternatively there heaps other options out there, just how you wanna do it!

Do you have details of this proven set up that works?

IF you have money I'd rather go for the Tracy Sports 2.4 litre stroker set up which actually has been video recorded with track times and proving it can match up with higher revving k20a cars in a lighter chasis.

    Chi,

Im not here to prove what is better than the other. Everyone has different views etc...etc....

There is a thousand way to skin a cat, so whether its a worked 2.0, 2.2 or 2.4 its up to the individual and application. I'm not here to get into a sh*tfight about what is better.

You and I both know that Toda Aust has built a few 2.2 strokers with good results. I'm sure any of the 2.4 combinations work, as proven buy a few people in the Honda circle.

End of the day if I had the money, I'd buy the new GTR and not try and work out how I will make the next kw from a Honda.

Why go to all that trouble and built a 2.2l? a 2.4l is capable of reving to 9000rpm...

If your were talking cost efficiency, 2.4l is the way to go..

geez everyone is so dam sensitive on this site. I was just trying to say my opinion. On the k20/24 you would traditionally use the accord euro crank shaft which is known not to handle revs. While in the toda setup you would use an s2000 crank (i think) which is proven to handle the revs....
