Haha, thanks, i have done 3 jdm front conversions, currently i own 2 dc2s, because iv'e done it a few times now its getting fairly easy, 1st time i did it took around 5 hours, now its taken 2-3 hours to do now.
I sold this front end for $1200 this was the buyer car, i did the fitting for him for $400 more so yeah pretty good deal for him
Does a jdm front conversion affect your insurance or not really? Thinking about doing the conversion some day lol.

Their 15x8 +25 ....same as majority of wheels out their such as og's etc.
With that drop & 195/50/15 tyres they cleared just fine...i had a natural camber of 2.5-3 but i straighted it up to 2 and no scrub..
diy rolled guards and i pulled fender a bit.... :L dodgy hahaha

Damn really? I always thought guard rolled wasn't necessary or anything on Integras running 15x8 +25 because their guards are wide enough. Maybe on 195/45s wouldn't need guard roll or anything just natural camber. But nonetheless dude great clean car! Got anymore pics?

So leaving work a week ago proved to be eventful. Clutch hit the floor and I could feel the hydraulic pressure drop every time I used it. Through the various Hills suburbs I went, babying the clutch, driving slowly in second-third and rev matching trying to catch lights just right.
Looking at the clutch master cylinder, it was both empty and filthy - what looked like carbon build up inside. I checked the lines, then pulled off the slave/clutch rubber cover only to see fluid weeping from the piston end of the slave.
http://members.iinet.net.au/~setanta/dc2r/DSCN0311.jpg
Yonas at JDMYard hooked me up with a new slave and I got my tools out today.
Only to realise that the last time I did a brake/clutch line it was my '64 EH Holden and my spanners were all imperial.
Off to supercheap for proper line spanners (I've learned the hard way not to use regular spanners on lines) and fresh fluid and a one-man bleed unit. The E30 bonnet as a tool bench was optional.
http://members.iinet.net.au/~setanta/dc2r/DSCN0312.jpg
First step was to undo the pipe into the slave. Fortunately my spanner's length just fit into the fan shroud and turned without hitting the radiator. Easier than I guessed it would be. Next the two bolts holding the slave in needed a 12mm spanner on them as a ratchet would foul on the fan shroud. There are two ways of doing this, from the top (hard) from the bottom (easy). I of course didn't think to try it from the bottom. Off it came and promptly frll into the oil pan I had under the car.
http://members.iinet.net.au/~setanta/dc2r/DSCN0315.jpg
Lots of fluid on the gearbox and a little inside the dust cover. Gave it a clean up (and the OCD kicked in, I cleaned the bolts as well :D ) Got out the cue-tips and daughter's old toothbrush and cleaned the master cylinder cap that had carbon/grit inside it.
http://members.iinet.net.au/~setanta/dc2r/DSCN0319.jpg
Paper towel and cue-tips also took care of the master cylinder (couldn't get into the corners though - doesn't matter, it flushed out later on).
http://members.iinet.net.au/~setanta/dc2r/DSCN0317.jpg
Putting the slave back in was fiddly as the dust cover goes onto the slave, then you bolt it to the gearbox but first making sure the piston is seated in the clutch arm and that the line is seated. A few tries and it was all in. Putting the two bolts back required a bit of a jiggle to line the bolts up. As always, I couln't get the bolts to line up with the hole. Remembering what a mechanic mate had told me "Imagine it's your girlfriend" (innuendo implied) got both holes lined up easily enough (no inuendo implied!) and tightened it up. Dust jacket took a little finessing and then it was on to the bit I hate, bleeding the system.
Actually, now I'm starting to wonder if I'm talking about the car or not
http://members.iinet.net.au/~setanta/dc2r/DSCN0310.jpg
The one-man system is great, fill the master cylinder, half-fill the bottle attach small probe to the hose on the bleed-bottle and twist it into the bleed-nozzle. Back the nozzle off half a turn and put the bottle up higher than the slave (it has a nice magnet built into the bottle).
http://members.iinet.net.au/~setanta/dc2r/DSCN0320.jpg
Pump the clutch, top the master up, pump the clutch more, empty the bottle when full, rinse and repeat then snick the bleed closed. I went through just over a litre of fluid as I was flushing out all the crap that had been sitting in the system. By the end I finished with the lines clear This was the last of the crap:
http://members.iinet.net.au/~setanta/dc2r/DSCN0323.jpg
Master cylinder looking clean and clear:
http://members.iinet.net.au/~setanta/dc2r/DSCN0321.jpg
I then went back over everything to make sure I hadn't missed anything (or left tools in the engine bay), in the process realising that it would have been easier to get to the bolts from beneath. Clutch works nicely, engages smoothly and all is right in the world again. Not a bad effort for 3 hours work. It was possibly one of the easiest mechanical jobs I've done in a long time... so I've probably done something wrong :D

I would imagine insurance would say getfktm8, and made the drunk pay for the repairs. The victim's insurance would chase him down, but the drinker's Insurance wouldnt have paid out (unless they thought he was sober) as old mate said.

Sorry to argue with you Arex, but excellent street tyre they are not.
Wear rating of 140, potentially dangerous in wet, loud as, uncomfortable ride, and the need to warm them up in order to unlock that stickiness (hard to do on the streets!) an excellent street tyre it does not make. inb4 time for new rubber.
You oughta experience the F1 Eagle asymmetric 2 I got on my car. Now that's a truly excellent street tyre. RSR is for weekend track warrior with no consideration to wear or NVH who uses car as part-time daily.

Sorry to argue with you Arex, but excellent street tyre they are not.
Wear rating of 140 (because race car), potentially dangerous in wet (good for hecktic drifts), loud as (because awesome stuff grabs your attention), uncomfortable ride (it's a fantastic ride because the sidewalls are stiffer, no one likes a limp dick), and the need to warm them up in order to unlock that stickiness (hard to do on the streets! (In what scenario do you need to unlock that stickiness on the streets, brb heading out to touge) ) an excellent street tyre it does not make (it's a nice tyre for people who like a more track orientated feel). inb4 time to buy a race car.

They suit my needs perfectly which makes them an excellent street tyre.
If i had of said 'excellent all round daily comfortable therefor slightly compromised tyre', well then, that you can argue.

Finally got to drive the teg after koni/gc and asr 24mm sb and brace install. Holy hell what a difference! Albeit, pre-alignment, it feels like a go-kart. Nearly did a u-turn going around a roundabout because it just wanted to keep turning. Some people drive around and have absolutely no idea.

Drive at night with no lights on.
No one cares if you can see where you're going or not. At least make yourself visable so people can steer clear

of course they can, if they feel its a not roadworthy they can issue defects. Why is this a suprise to people? Ive come to the conclusion that its the attitude of drivers that decides if they get defected or not.

Hey man, I didnt tuck anything in the engine bay yet so its pretty much like wiring up a amp.
Running a 0 gauge from front to rear, adding a terminal to the rear end of the cable and bolting battery box + putting battery in and grounding it anywhere.
Then at the front chop off the terminal on positive and either solder/crimp/join to the 0 gauage or how ever you want to do it to get it to stick together lol.
I just bought a power distribution block so its all plug in no dodgey shit, and this opens up slots for other power supply in the future.
I didn't tuck the fuse box under dash yet as ill do that when I do the kswap so I can change harness over and pull the headlight harness back in the car and run it through door jambs to the front.

Shifting 10kg worth of weight to the rear of the car is going to make less of a difference than the driver sitting in the front of the car. It's pointless when you can just run a 10 gauge wire to your boot, but whatever. Neither really here nor there... You probably affect the weight distribution more having 50kg worth of amps, sub woofers and other useless crap in your boot.
You're only young once though, so live large and prosper.
