I honestly don't see that as being a major problem, they've already been treated like shit with an acrylic coat and it can't really get much worse than the state they're in :P The heat issue is something to consider. There's plenty of places that will actually recoat wheels however you like, although, it may work out safer just to get them stripped back to metal and painted instead.

I see what you're getting at, I wouldn't want a wheel to end up cracking like a piece of sh!t Rota, but, I dunno... It's just the risks your willing to take I guess. I may just end up getting them painted.

Build quality and feel of the coils is great, hyper coil springs to so not just some no name spring being used (hyper coil are well know in Motorsport throughout USA) Coils are valved to match the spring rates and you can see this when you look at the valve on the bottom. It's taped up and marked.

My rates are 14f 12r. Have not driven it yet and were doing a few more things to her.

Bau have you ever used a Gates timing belt on B series before? I'm pretty certain they have the wrong number of teeth as they have one belt to suit B16 and B18.

Adrian advised me not to use them for this reason, and there was a guy here on OH who had to get a different belt because the timing just wouldn't line up.

Just a heads up for you bro, wouldn't want you to get half way into the job only to need another belt.

It's to get a particular sound. A lot of work goes into making the exhaust sound the way it does. But performance-wise yes it is basically no different from any other 2.5" mandrel bent pipe.

All depends on the product, all made in China isn't a POS. Exorst can be Jap, OZ or US designed and be made well in a well-controlled Chinese factory. They then pass the slavings on to you. Making an exhaust is not total rocket science and the best will not outperform the worst by any large difference, and with the minimal bang for buck gains to be had on an NA Honda its not always worth it. A JDM exhaust will retain its value better come resale time, but the saved money on a cheaper exhaust (and you can always get a branded JDM muffler) can be used elsewhere on the car, as others have said.

Yeah for my dc2. Also grabbing moroso sump, adjustable cam gears, skunk2 intake manifold and a skunk2 68mm throttle body from a friend of mine. Gonna pull the head off the b18 and send it off to get machined. Aswel as getting a full gasket kit :)

Finally put the Mugen baffled sump on. The original had been tapped for a turbo return line but when I checked the oil level I noticed the dipstick was dry (actually, there was 3 litres in the sump when I drained it).

Turns out the rubber "condom" blank had perished and oil was being forced out. Water line blanks and heat/oil = perished rubber. I got a similar one onto the car to get it to a garage (no hoist at home and I refuse to crawl under cars without one in my old age :D ).

Threw in the 10-30 Royal Purple and other than some oil having dripped on the exhaust it's all good.

Cleaned up the oil on the exhaust, tightened up the shifter to get rid of the buzz.

Clearance exhaust to sump is tight as is exhaust to shifter base. Might need to get CHE to adjust it a tiny bit down.

I just realised that the clock bezel in a DC2/DC4 Integra is the same size an iPhone 4 and found the perfect place to mount my iPhone. I'm thinking about removing the clock and mounting my USB cable through the hole there for my headunit when I get round to swapping it over. At the moment I've just been leaving my phone there with a time and weather app. It doesn't even move when I go over bumps... It's also perfect for when you're driving with Google Maps. Could finally set my iPhone up for watching movies and shit whilst driving, apparently its illegal though to have an in car TV screen the driver can see whilst driving... But it would be easy to mount it properly, particularly if you just took out the clock. Even just make a cover that goes over the top of it.

Went to the JDM Yard meet last month and I couldnt walk away without buying a few things as the prices were to good to refuse lol.

Any ways I ended up buying a Buddy Club short shifter and Spoon style carbon mirrors at the meet. I fitted the mirrors when i got home from the JDM yard meet and the short shifter was installed last week by myself and my mates along with the following:

- Sports Organic clutch
- Lightened flywheel
- M-Tech springs for shifter mechanism
- Hybrid Racing Shifter bushings
- Carcepts weighted gearknob
- New OEM rear main seal

Didnt get any pics of the install as I CBF and it was hard enough to change the clutch then to still worry about pics lol, But the car drives a shit load better now....it revs up alot nicer and the gearshift feels very direct well worth the time, money and effort it took to install. Very Happy :)

I also got a Vlip which I installed along with new wheel nuts. Also gave the car a good wash and did some cleaning under the bonnet:
