So its been leaking oil for a while now, and never been sure where its coming from. Changed sump gasket and it was still leaking, checked oil filter and sandwich plate and all is good, so chucked it up on a hoist to have a look and turned out to be a small hairline crack in cast alloy of the block and the thread of the oil pressure switch, soo motor is out again. And sent off to the engine builder to be welded up.

Figured I'd take the chance to clean everything up.

Crank is coming out to completely clean everything and to stick some paint on the block, am also painting as many brackets and mounts as I can.

but yeah, almost done just waiting on my HKS Hi power muffler to come in and make the o2 sensor bung and make some hangers

pretty much fab up a bigger collector for the headers to flexi pipe, hi flo cat and straight out to a HKS muffler

Managed to get it started. However now whenever I give it throttle it just dies and its hunting real bad. Gotta grab a new battery cause mines rooted and after I do that I'll check to see which cylinder is causing the issue.

Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) possibly. If that's far out of whack or broken it would cause the engine to stall when you touch the throttle. Check it with a multimeter.

BUT. Before you do that, there is a very good chance that when you were mucking around with the loom you got the MAP sensor and TPS sensor plugs mixed up. They are the same plug so they fit on both sensors, but if this happens the car runs like shit and stalls. So check that first!

There are 2 bolts there already that fix the rear reo bar to the rear chassis rails.

I just got a piece of steel and flattened the ends and drilled holes in it + 2 longer bolts M12x1.25x40mm.

Total cost <$5.

lol its easy its just getting soldering to hold is what matters. Connection always broke off. Just pry tail lights apart, wire up led (using an led of >4000k mcd + matching resistors) onto a board and find a way to make it hold and keep testing.

So.. i decided to fuze both of them together lol

Basically stripped it down, sprayed a silver base coat

I will be sanding down the letters once its dryed and try to polish it up

Vinh, use a razor blade to cut the paint off the letters, and then wet sand with 400g on a metal block. Comes up a treat :)

I fixed a rattly drivers window, the rubber guide in the channel fell down in the inside door cavity and took a while to find it there, rolled the window up, washed the rubber guide and used super glue to stick it back to the window guide, after 20min sprayed some lithium grease and rolled the window up and down .... perfect and no more rattle, should last years.
